Depending on the condition of your shingles, the earliest you would want to begin your preservation program is at the 5-year mark. Please keep an eye on the condition of your roof and the volume of granular shingle surface that your find in your gutter. Older roofs that are 10-15 years old are also perfect candidates for beginning the preservation program. If your shingles are 10 years or older, you would want to initiate your preservation program, spraying the roof every 5 years, which will significantly extend the total life of your roof.
